Chong Lee is the Chief Executive Officer of 65 Equity Partners and is a member of the Investment Committee as well as the Board of Directors.
He is concurrently the President of Temasek International, where he has been since 2011.
His previous roles at Temasek include Head of Europe, Head of Southeast Asia, Chief Investment Officer and Head of Portfolio Management. Chong Lee has diverse investment experience and sits on Temasek’s global investment committee and is also Board Director of Deutsche Börse, CLA Real Estate Holdings and Pavilion Energy.
Prior to Temasek, Chong Lee was the Country Executive as well as the Head of Corporate & Investment Banking, Southeast Asia, at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. He was also a member of Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s Asia Pacific Executive Committee.
Before that, he was the Co-Head of Investment Banking, Southeast Asia, at Goldman Sachs and had worked with several European banks including BNP Paris and Barings Brothers & Co. Chong Lee has over 20 years’ experience in banking.
Chong Lee has a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration (Accounting) degree and a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from the Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.
Alexander is Head of US and a Partner at 65 Equity Partners, based in San Francisco.
He joined 65 Equity Partners from Bridgepoint where, as a Senior Partner, he was responsible for setting up the firm’s San Francisco investment office, co-led the global technology investment team and focused on US LP development.
Prior to that, he was a Managing Director and member of the organizational committee, various investment committees, and various valuation committees at GI Partners. At GI Partners, he focused on leading investments in the data centre services, business services and healthcare sectors.
Alexander started his career with JP Morgan investment banking in New York and London. He has extensive middle market investment experience across industries having worked on over 20 private equity backed companies as a board member or advisor.
Alexander holds a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from Colgate University and an MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia.
Alex is Head of Europe and a Partner at 65 Equity Partners, based in London.
He joined 65 Equity Partners from Centerbridge Partners where he was a Senior Managing Director focusing on private equity and credit.
Prior to that, he was a Managing Director at the Carlyle Group, focusing on the consumer, business and industrial services and healthcare sectors.
Alex started his private equity career with Apax Partners investing in high growth companies, before which he was a management consultant with Bain & Company. He had been involved in investments or on the Boards of Apcoa, Applus, Focus-Wickes, Hansen, NBTY-Holland & Barrett, My Dentist, PA Consulting, PCM, Promethean, RAC, Solidus Solutions, Tempo Assist. Alex has over 20 years of experience working in private equity.
Alex holds a Bachelor of Politics and Economics from the University of Cambridge and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Francis is Chief Corporate Officer at 65 Equity Partners, focusing on investing in Asia and managing the firm.
Francis joined 65 Equity Partners from global asset manager, Eastspring Investments, where he was Chief Financial Officer and a Board Director. He was, concurrently, a Senior Advisor to TPG and an appointed board director to an investment. Prior to Eastspring, Francis was Managing Director at TPG, where he focused on private equity investments in Southeast Asia, and was Chief Financial Officer for Asia overseeing the firm’s profitability and investment performance. Francis spent over 11 years in investment banking in New York and Singapore, having last worked at Credit Suisse as Co-Head of Corporate Finance for Southeast Asia.
Francis holds an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and a BBA from the University of Michigan.
Luca is an Analyst at 65 Equity Partners, based in London.
He joined 65 Equity Partners from Jefferies, where he was an Investment Banking Associate in the EMEA M&A team. Prior to that, he was an Analyst at Mediobanca in the Financial Sponsors Group focussing primarily on the Italian market.
Luca holds a Master of Corporate Finance from Cass Business School (First Class Honours) and a Bachelor of Business Administration and Management from Bocconi University.
Annie is Human Resources Director at 65 Equity Partners, based in Singapore.
She joined 65 Equity Partners from global growth investor, L Catterton where she was Regional Human Resources Director. Prior to that, Annie worked for several international brands in consumer space including Sephora and had worked across hospitality and healthcare sectors.
Annie holds an Executive Master in Change from INSEAD and a Bachelor of Commerce from Curtin University.
Jason is a Vice President at 65 Equity Partners, based in San Francisco.
He joined 65 Equity Partners from AIMPERA Capital Partners, where he focused on making equity investments in privately-owned real assets and infrastructure businesses. Prior to that, Jason worked at Baird Capital Partners as an associate investing in middle-market industrial companies. Jason started his career as an Analyst in the Global Industrials and M&A team at Citigroup.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from the University of California, Berkeley.
Matthew is an Assistant Vice President at 65 Equity Partners, based in Singapore.
He joined 65 Equity Partners from Temasek’s Consumer Investment team based in Singapore covering the global Consumer sector, where he had successfully executed several transactions including private equity minority investments and co-sponsor buyouts. His coverage included subsectors such as Education, Pet Food, Consumer Health, F&B, and Beauty and Personal Care.
Matthew has a Bachelor of Accountancy (First Class Honours) from Nanyang Technological University.
Nicholas is an Associate at 65 Equity Partners, based in Singapore.
He joined 65 Equity Partners from Grab, where he worked on investments and fundraising activities. Prior to that, he was an Investment Banking Analyst at Morgan Stanley.
Nicholas has a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (Summa Cum Laude) from Singapore Management University.
Shari is Head of Legal at 65 Equity Partners, based in Singapore.
She joined 65 Equity Partners from Shearman & Sterling, where she advised on cross-border M&A and private equity transactions in both established and emerging markets. Prior to that, she co-founded an offshore international law firm in Singapore, and worked at Allen & Overy and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. She started her career at Clayton Utz in Australia.
Shari holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts from the Australian National University. Shari is admitted to practice law in England and Wales, Hong Kong, Australia and the British Virgin Islands.
Zhongyi is a Vice President at 65 Equity Partners, based in Singapore.
He joined 65 Equity Partners from Temasek, where he was in the Global Agribusiness investment team based in Singapore and subsequently spent a year in the Executive Office as Staff Officer to Temasek’s Deputy CEO, whom he supported in executing various institutional and strategic projects. Prior to that, he was an Investment Banking analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and before that, an M&A analyst at Rabobank International.
Zhongyi has a Bachelor of Accountancy (First Class Honours) from Nanyang Technological University.
Nicholas is an Associate at 65 Equity Partners, based in London. He joined 65 Equity Partners from Jefferies, where he was an Investment Banking Associate in the EMEA M&A team focusing primarily on the Healthcare sector.
Nicholas holds a Master of Economics (First Class Honours) from the University of Glasgow.
Jiale is an Associate at 65 Equity Partners, based in Singapore.
He joined 65 Equity Partners from Credit Suisse, where he was an Analyst in the Investment Banking & Capital Markets division. There, he advised and worked with clients in the Technology, Media and Telecom sectors across Southeast Asia.

He joined 65 Equity Partners from SeaTown Holdings, where he led the global coverage for the Financials and Utilities sectors for the multi-asset strategy fund. Prior to that he worked at Temasek where he had roles with the Financial Services investment and the Structuring and Execution teams.

Dheeraj is an Investment Principal at 65 Equity Partners, based in Singapore.
He joined 65 Equity Partners from Temasek where he has been since 2010. He had had various market and sector roles including Consumer, Industrials, Financial Services and Agri-Food. Since 2010, Dheeraj has invested over US$5b across more than 20 completed transactions, across private and public equity in Asia and the Americas.
Dheeraj is currently Board member of Tower Capital Asia and Voloagri and had previously served on the boards of Pivot Bio and Upside Foods. Prior to Temasek, Dheeraj was part of the M&A team at Rothschild.
Dheeraj has a Bachelor of Computer Engineering from Delhi Institute of Technology and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management.
Krishna is an Associate at 65 Equity Partners, based in San Francisco.
He joined 65 Equity Partners from Housatonic Partners, where he focused on Software & Tech-Enabled Services sector. Krishna started his career as an Analyst in the Financial Institutions Group at Goldman Sachs.
Krishna holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
Kon is a Vice President, Investment and Portfolio Risk at 65 Equity Partners, based in Singapore.
He joined 65 Equity Partners from Temasek where he was part of the Investment Review team evaluating investments across a range of sectors and markets. Prior to that, Kon had M&A and investment roles at Telstra and Transfield Holdings, covering a range of sectors including TMT, Real Estate and Infrastructure. He started his career in investment banking at Goldman Sachs in Australia.
Kon holds a Bachelor of Commerce with First Class Honours (Finance) from the University of New South Wales.
Wei Hao is the Finance Manager at 65 Equity Partners, based in Singapore.
He joined 65 Equity Partners from Affinity Equity Partners, where he was handling the accounting for one of its largest funds. Prior to that, he worked at Partners Group AG and UBS AG. Wei Hao is a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA). He started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Wei Hao has a Bachelor of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Business Management, from Singapore Management University.
Toufic is an Investment Principal at 65 Equity Partners, based in London.
He joined 65 Equity Partners from Temasek where he has been since 2007. He has had various sector and market roles including Technology and Energy & Mining in Singapore and EMEA. Since 2007, Toufic has invested and divested over US$15b across more than 15 completed transactions mainly in Consumer, Agri, Technology, Energy & Power and Mining across private and public companies.
Prior to that, Toufic was at Colony Capital, a US real estate private equity fund, in Paris and Singapore. He started his career at Citigroup France. Toufic is an Advisory board member of FSI (Fondo Strategico Italiano) and was previously board member of Solevo as well as an investment committee member at Tana Capital.
Toufic holds a Master of International Business from EDHEC Business School in France.
Adrienne is an Investment Principal at 65 Equity Partners, based in Singapore.
She joined 65 Equity Partners from Temasek where she has been since 2015. She was part of the Consumer team, focusing on investments in Consumer Products and Services globally. Adrienne is the primary officer leading the transformation and value creation of Olam International Holdings into a food ingredients company.
She is also currently a Board member of Boardroom and Board observer of Heliconia Capital Management and Carsome. Adrienne was previously Limited Partner Advisory Committee and Board observer of various consumer and consumer tech related funds and companies.
Prior to that, Adrienne was at CIMB Group for over 9 years covering the M&A, divestment, restructuring and expansion activities of the group.
Adrienne has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne.
Yee Hian is the Financial Controller of 65 Equity Partners, based in Singapore.
Prior to joining 65 Equity Partners, she spent over 7 years with GIC in the Singapore and London offices providing finance support in various capacities to the Private Equity, Infrastructure and Real Estate Investment Groups. Before GIC, she was an Audit Manager with EY Singapore. Her portfolio of clients included large multinational corporations and local listed companies.
Yee Hian holds a Bachelor of Accountancy degree, Major in Law (Summa Cum Laude) from Singapore Management University. She is a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA).
Milly is a Vice President at 65 Equity Partners, based in San Francisco.
She joined 65 Equity Partners from Carrick Capital Partners, where she focused on SaaS, tech-enabled services, and BPO businesses across a variety of end markets including healthcare, cybersecurity, GRC, etc. Prior to that, Milly was an Investment Banking Analyst at JP Morgan in New York.
Milly holds an MBA with high distinction from Harvard Business School and graduated summa cum laude from Harvard College with a degree in Economics and Statistics.
Tim is an Investment Principal at 65 Equity Partners, based in Singapore.
He joined 65 Equity Partners from J.P. Morgan where he was the Head of Equity Capital Markets for Southeast Asia. His coverage included both public and private fundraising across a range of sectors including TMT, Healthcare, Consumer, and Digital Infrastructure. Timothy has successfully raised c.US$50b for global issuers via more than 100 transactions within Asia Pacific, including over US$20bn via Initial Public Offerings and capital market exits for buyside clients.
Timothy has over 17 years of experience working in corporate finance, equity and equity-linked fund raisings across the U.S., Hong Kong, and Singapore.
Tim holds a Bachelor of Commerce (with Merit) and a Master of Commerce (Hons) from the University of New South Wales (UNSW Sydney)
Lynn is the Chief Financial Officer of 65 Equity Partners, based in Singapore.
She has a broad-based career spanning roles in the United Kingdom, China and Singapore. Prior to 65 Equity Partners, she was CFO in another private equity firm focusing on the Healthcare and Hospitality industries and was also Executive Director of the portfolio company’s foundation.
Before that, she was CFO of AIG’s joint venture in China, based in Beijing; Director for Asia for Legal & General Plc based in London and Shanghai; Head of Asia Pacific Development for Standard Life Aberdeen, based in Edinburgh. Lynn is also a Board Member of The Hepatitis Fund (EndHep2030) based in Geneva and Windward Insurance Brokers.
Lynn holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University Singapore and an MBA from London Business School. She is also a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA), and Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments (CISI) in the UK.
Kai Nargolwala is the Chairman of 65 Equity Partners and a member of the Investment Committee. He also serves on the Board of PSA International Pte Ltd and chairs the Boards of Singapore Pools (Private) Limited and Pentagreen Capital Pte. Ltd.
Kai previously served on the Boards of several listed companies including Credit Suisse Group AG, Prudential plc, Standard Chartered plc and Singapore Telecommunications Limited. He was the Founding Chairman of Clifford Capital Holdings, a company guaranteed by the Singapore Government. He was also the former Chairman of Prudential Corporation Asia Limited and Duke-NUS Medical School Governing Board. Additionally, he served as a Board member of the Casino Regulatory Authority of Singapore and was a member of Visa International’s Asia Pacific Advisory Board.
Kai is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales as well as the Singapore Institute of Directors. He earned his Honors Degree in Economics from the University of Delhi.
Kai is a Singapore citizen, and he was awarded the Public Service Star (Bintang Bakti Masyarakat) at the National Day Awards 2019 in recognition of his service to Singapore.
Aik Meng Eng is a board member of 65 Equity Partners, and a member of the Investment Committee.
He is Senior Advisor at TPG Capital, and is a co-founder of TE Asia Healthcare Partners and acts as CEO of TE Healthcare Advisory Pte Ltd.
Aik Meng was previously a board member of Healthscope Hospitals and the holding company of United Family Healthcare. He was previously Group Chief Operating Officer of Fortis Healthcare International where he was responsible for a wide range of healthcare businesses across Asia and Australia. Prior to joining the healthcare industry, he held various leadership positions in the maritime industry, the last being President of APL, a large shipping and ports group.
Aik Meng graduated with an MBA from Harvard University.
Kok Song Ng is a board member of 65 Equity Partners and a member of the Investment Committee.
Kok Song is co-founder and Chairman of Avanda Investment Management. Before that, he was Chief Investment Officer of GIC, where he completed a 42-year career in the investment of Singapore’s foreign reserves and was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal. Kok Song serves on PIMCO’s Global Advisory Board and was previously Board member of the Singapore Exchange and Founding Chairman of Singapore International Monetary Exchange.
Kok Song serves on the board of governors of the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore and the Asia School of Business in Malaysia. He is conferred the Thomas L Hansberger Award for Leadership in the global investment profession by the CFA Institute. He is also Member of the Strategic Committee of Agency France Tresor and was conferred the award of “La Croix de Chevalier de la Legion d’Honneur” and “Officer de l’ordre National du Merite”
Kok Song graduated in Physics from the University of Singapore and in Management from Stanford University.
John Vaske is a Board Member of 65 Equity Partners and a member of the Investment Committee. He is also currently Temasek’s Head of Americas, having joined in 2017. John comes with over 30 years’ global investment & investment banking experience. Previously, he was Co-Chairman of Global M&A in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs where he spent his entire career prior to Temasek.
John serves on the boards of Farmers Business Network, Califia, Rivulis and Eastdil Secured Holdings, and board observer at NVA. He is Chairman of the Board of PeacePlayers International, a non-profit organization with the vision of uniting divided communities through sport. John is a Board Member of Bottom Line New York, which serves to support students on a path to a college degree and also a member of the Athletic Leadership Committee of Columbia University
John has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the Columbia University.
Hsin Yue Yong is a board member of 65 Equity Partners and a member of the Investment Committee.
She is currently the Managing Director of Kuok (Singapore) Limited.
Prior to that, Hsin was the General Manager of Special Projects for Wilmar International, a listed agribusiness company, and Head of Investment Banking Division for Southeast Asia at Goldman Sachs where she spent almost 20 years.
Hsin is a Council member of the Singapore Business Federation.
Hsin holds an MA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Worcester College, Oxford, and an MBA from INSEAD.
