Phil Wiese

Phil is an Investment Principal at 65 Equity Partners, based in London.

He joined 65 Equity Partners from Trilantic Europe, where he spent the last decade focussing on German and Pan-European mid-market private equity deals, supporting entrepreneurs and management teams in realising their growth ambitions including supporting international expansion and execution of buy-and-build strategies.

Phil started his career in investment banking with BofA Merrill Lynch in the global industrial team based in London.

Phil holds a BSc in Business Administration from the University of Mannheim. He is fluent in both English and German

Charles Goulet

Charles is a Managing Director at 65 Equity Partners, where he focuses on investment opportunities in France.

He joined 65 Equity Partners from Wendel, where he was a Managing Director and Co-Head of Investment Strategy in Europe. With over 17 years of experience in private equity, Charles has worked in both Paris and London. His investment experience covers Europe, the US and Asia, with a focus on Pan-European regions (France, Spain and Benelux) and Business Services and Industrial sectors.

Charles began his private equity journey with Ardian, working in the Private Debt and Funds of Funds teams.

Charles holds an MBA from ESSEC Business School (France) and a Degree in Law from University of Cergy (France). He speaks French, English and Spanish.

Dr. Michael Diederich

Dr. Michael Diederich is 65 Equity Partners’ Senior Advisor for the DACH region (Germany, Switzerland, Austria).

Michael is currently Executive Vice-Chairman and Chief Financial Officer of FC Bayern München AG. Prior to this he had a long and distinguished career in corporate and investment banking at HypoVereinsbank and UniCredit, latterly as CEO of UniCredit Bank AG (Germany) and a member of the bank’s Group Executive Committee in Milan. In his various roles Michael has been a trusted adviser and friend to numerous Mittelstand entrepreneurs in his native Germany and beyond.

Michael holds a PhD in economics from Tomas Bata University and an MBA from Northwestern University and began his career at an auditing firm.

He is based in Munich.

Clive Ng

Clive is the Finance Manager at 65 Equity Partners, based in Singapore.

He joined 65 Equity Partners from SEA Limited, where he was the Lead Controller for the E-commerce segment for Philippines region. Prior to that, he was an Audit Senior Manager with KMPG Singapore. He is a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountant (ISCA).

Clive holds a Bachelor of Accountancy with specialization in Business Law from Nanyang Technological University.
